Men are special! Jesus chose twelve of them and changed the world. Each man has eternity in his heart and each Christian man is gifted and empowered to be a leader in his home, his workplace and in his circle of influence. The world desperately needs godly men who are going to stand up for truth, righteousness and justice.
In case you hadn’t noticed, we are in a battle. There are two kingdoms at war – the kingdom of the Son of God and the Kingdom of Darkness (Col. 1:13). The victory has already been determined, but the battle is intensifying. Satan is luring away our children, ruining our marriages, and immobilizing our men. It is time to say, “enough is enough; we won’t take it anymore!” It is time for men of faith to rise up and take their rightful place in the Kingdom of Jesus. Our wives, our children, and everyone else are worth fighting for.
The Bible says, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2Cor 10:4-5). Our weapons are prayer and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Freedom Fighters are committed to liberating captive men, women and children from the holds of the kingdom of darkness, by preaching the truth, standing up for righteousness and justice, and changing our society by bringing the Kingdom of God everywhere we go.
We will hold each other accountable and put ourselves in divine alignment, under God, as the head (protector, provider, preserver) of our home. We will love our wives as Christ loves the church, and raise our children up in the fear of the Lord. We will stand with one another in the unity of the Spirit, and advance the Kingdom of God into every sphere of influence. We will only “boast in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world” (Gal. 6:14). We will guard our eyes, our hearts and our minds, and abstain from all ungodly passions and desires.
We will heed the words of the apostle Paul to, “fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses” (1Tim. 6:12) and, “Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs-- he wants to please his commanding officer” (2Tim 2:3-4). We will live radical lives for our King, and declare freedom to the captives. We will invite all to know this King.
Come join the fight! You know its in you.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Ephesians 6:10-13)
