“It’s time”, says the Lord
A Word for the Church of Jesus Christ
REJOICE THAT YOUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN! (Lk 10:20)
It’s time...
To make the King & His Kingdom first priority
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. Mt 6:33
To engage in the battle
“The time of preparation is over. It’s time to engage in the battle.”
Through dreams I have been having the Lord has said, “Use the sword I have given you (the Word). Go deeper in the Word-read it, meditate on it, study it, memorize it, practice it.”
And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his cloak and buy one. Lk 22:36
To put into practice everything you have learned, received, heard & seen
The Lord has been training & equipping us & now is the time to be doers of the Word.
As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Phil 4:9
Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does. Ja 1:21-25
Jn 14:15; 15:7-11
Put into practice the ‘one another’s’
To overcome!
-these are instructions from God balanced with the joy & desire to overcome & what happens when we do overcome
-overcome discontentment, distraction, deception & discouragement with truth (Ps 119), discernment (Phil 1:9), wisdom (Eph 1:17), the sound mind, the mind of Christ, you have been given (2 Ti 1:7; 1 Co 2:14-16), prayer and praise & thanksgiving (Col 3:16-17; 4:2), obedience (2 Co 10:5), unity (Eph 4:3), humility (Phil 2:1-18) and contentment (Phil 4:11; 2:14-15)
To him who overcomes: I will give to eat from the tree of life (Rev 2:7), shall not be hurt by the second death (Rev 2:10), I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it (the imputed character of Christ) (Rev 2:17), I will give him power over the nations and the morning star (Rev 2:26, 28), shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels (Rev 3:5), I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. (Rev 3:12), I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (Rev 3:21)
To balance the love of God with the fear of God
It takes both-and without both, we end up unbalanced, there is a perversion of grace and error results-we will not have a proper perspective of God
The fear of God needs to come into the church. The error that has moved into the church causing the preaching of another gospel needs to be corrected by the awesome fear of God & His holiness & righteousness. There is confusion in the church about what loving one another really means & the errors that are resulting from that need to be corrected too.
Then appreciate the gracious kindness and the severity of God: to those who fell [into spiritual ruin], severity, but to you, God’s gracious kindness—if you continue in His kindness [by faith and obedience to Him]; otherwise you too will be cut off. Ro 11:22 AMP
I pray that God will give us a greater and greater revelation of His love, that we may be rooted and established in it. (Eph 3:14-19) I pray that we will grow in the true fear of the Lord, serving Him and walking in obedience to His ways!
DO EVERYTHING WITH JOY!
